Goal Setting Mind Map Template

Big goals stall when the next step is fuzzy. A goal map starts with the outcome and keeps branching until every leaf is something you could do this week. The SMART checklist (specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, time-bound) keeps each branch honest.

Blank template. Best for: Anyone planning a year, a term or a personal project.

How to fill it in

  1. Write the big goal in the centre.
  2. Add 3–5 sub-goals. Make each one SMART.
  3. Under each sub-goal add habits and a first action you can do this week.
  4. Add an Obstacles branch with a plan for each.
