Revision Mind Map Template

Revision maps work because building one forces retrieval: you have to pull each fact out of memory and decide where it belongs. That act of organising, not the finished picture, is what makes it stick. Draw one from memory first, then check your notes and add what you missed in a second colour.

How to fill it in

  1. One topic per map, named in the centre.
  2. Branches for key terms, processes, formulas and examples.
  3. Keep node text to a few words; the map is a cue, not a transcript.
  4. Add a "Weak spots" branch and revisit it first next session.
