What’s stored, and where

Maps you create are saved in your browser’s localStorage on this device, along with which map you had open on each page. They never reach our servers. Clearing your browser data, or using the button below, deletes them. Export to JSON if you want a backup or to move a map to another device.

When you use AI

The AI generator and the “Suggest ideas” button send only what you typed for that request (a topic, pasted notes, or the selected idea and its parent branch names) to an AI model through Vercel AI Gateway, which returns an outline. We don’t store the text or the result on our side. Please don’t paste confidential or personal information. AI is never called unless you press a button.

Analytics

We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to count page views. It is cookieless and doesn’t collect personal data. Our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps standard server logs, such as IP address and request time, for security and abuse prevention.

Exports

PNG, SVG, PDF, Markdown and JSON files are generated inside your browser and downloaded directly. Nothing is uploaded.
